About us

We had our beginning in 1970 when John Goss commenced operations on the Gold Coast (QLD) as John Goss Electrical Pty Ltd. The Goss Group of Companies continues to have our Head Office at Nerang on the Gold Coast to this day.

In 1990, John Goss Projects Pty Ltd opened an office in Emerald to service Central QLD. The Emerald office has now been relocated to Rockhampton, from where we base our Central QLD Operations. 1996 saw the successful completion of our first major project in NSW (Liverpool Hospital) and the establishment of a permanent John Goss Projects Pty Ltd NSW Sydney Office. An office was established in Cairns in 1998 to service the North Queensland region.

In October 2000 John Goss Projects Pty Ltd established a dedicated Underground Reticulation Division “Deep Gem” which added to our already extensive coverage of construction industry services.

From an employee base of some 20 in 1970, the Goss Group has grown to become a large operation with up to 300 qualified people employed at various times depending on work flow.

All companies and divisions within the Goss Group are Code Compliant to the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry.
